Match My Model does not require an account. Search matching happens in your browser; the model text you type into the search box is not intentionally sent to a search server.

The site creates a temporary first-party session identifier in your browser so it can count basic visible-page activity and tagged Amazon outbound clicks. Standard web-server or CDN request logs may also contain technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and access time.

If you use the request / correction form, the message, category, source page, model or part number you provide, and any optional email address are stored in a private feedback inbox for review.

When you follow a link to Amazon or a manufacturer, you leave Match My Model. Those sites handle data under their own privacy practices.
